President's day

• President's day is an official holiday commemorating the birthdays of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.
• The purpose of president's day is  the generally understood purpose of Presidents Day (alternately spelled President's Day, Presidents' Day, or Presidents Day) is to celebrate the American presidency and remember all those who served as President of the United States. This, however, is not the official purpose of the holiday.
• the congress  marks the birthday of George Washington, the first President of the United States.  Washington was born on February 22
• Respect has great importance in everyday life. As children we are taught (one hopes) to respect our parents, teachers, and elders, school rules and traffic laws, family and cultural traditions, other people's feelings and rights, our country's flag and leaders, the truth and people's differing opinions.
